The Anterior Shoulder Brace is designed for people recovering from an anterior shoulder dislocation — the most common type, accounting for 80–95% of all shoulder dislocations. Its form-fitted shape provides targeted support at the front of the shoulder, limiting the vulnerable movements that lead to redislocation while keeping you active in sport and daily life.

  • CE and UK-registered medical device (MHRA)
  • Targeted anterior support — limits the external rotation and abduction most likely to cause redislocation
  • Breathable mesh panel at the rear keeps you cool during sport
  • Adjustable strap configuration for individualised support
  • Low-profile neoprene construction — can be worn under or over clothing
  • Available in Small, Medium, Large, and XL

What it's for

The Anterior Shoulder Brace is primarily for those who have experienced an anterior shoulder dislocation — where the ball of the shoulder joint has slipped forward out of the socket. It provides support specifically at the front of the shoulder, counteracting the instability left behind after dislocation.

Commonly used for return to sport in rugby, football, cricket, hockey, GAA, swimming, and rowing, as well as during rehabilitation and daily activity following shoulder dislocation or surgery.

How it works

The neoprene body provides compression and proprioceptive feedback across the shoulder joint, while the adjustable strap system limits external rotation and abduction — the movements most likely to cause a repeat anterior dislocation. The rear mesh panel promotes airflow, keeping you cool and dry during intensive activity.

Strap placement can be adjusted to match your individual instability pattern and activity level. The arm retains good functional movement directly in front of the body, allowing normal sporting activity while vulnerable positions are restricted.
